ActiView Watermark

Any ideas on why I would have a watermark with the new ActiView document camera? The mark itself is the a box with stripes and the letter M in the middle. I have tried uninstalling and starting over, but its still there.

I believe that this is a driver related issue - Please contact Promethean Technical Support who will help you in resolving this issue.

I had the exact same issue, though it seemed to only be certain users.

It had the stripey box with the M and behind it you could make out what looked like the egyptian hieroglyph that's the shape of an eye. Quite odd.

Anyway I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the driver in Device Manager (this is on XP), but that made no difference.


Then I went to http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/serv...show=nav.19248# and selected Actiview on the left, then ran the setup.exe program to uninstall actiview, then ran it again to install it. When it was installing it actually seemed to think actiview was still installed (I hadn't restarted because I'm lazy, that's maybe why) so I asked it to repair Actiview, Which it did.

Anyway it made the watermark go away, so happy days.
