Default Diffraction with Projector?

Has anybody else had issues with diffraction lines and their projector? I had mine mounted (with the short throw projector). I know that the projector is close, but lines appear to repeat multiple times to the right of the actual image. Is there a calibration I'm missing for this? Thanks!

Check that there are no loose connections with the cables first. I have seen this when that is the case.

It may be intererence from something else electrical on your electrics. Try switching a few electrical things off to see if that is the culprit.

After that, probably worth ringing support

You may also want to run your hand over the surface of your board to feel if there are any "bubbles." When I inherited a former teacher's Promethean board, I had the same diffraction issues. When I looked at the board, there were two distinct humps which were the culprit. Our installers had me document the weird issues I experienced for a few months. Thankfully, the board was still under warranty and was replaced.

We adjusted the screen resolution (to lowest number of pixel psi as possible) then re-calibrated; it seemed to take care of the issue.

I had a similar problem and found it was a bad splitter. It could also be a bad cable. Try to swap out the cable so you can have a higher resolution image.
