How do I move the sidebar to the left hand side of the screen??

Which application are you using? Activstudio? If so, I assume you mean the bar that includes the next page arrows. If you right click on the "other side" of your board (near the edge), it should move the bar to that side.

Is there a Mac version of this trick? I have tried control-, option-, and command-clicking on my Macbook running AS 3 under 10.5.8 with no luck. Any ideas?

I believe I've done this with my Mac, too. Using the ActivPen, I've just "right clicked" on the other side. HOWEVER, I just tried it and hmmm...it wouldn't work.

THEN I noticed a teeny weenie icon I'd never seen down at the bottom of the flipchart toolbar (the side bar) and if you click on it, there are several options. I was able to move the bar to the other side using these options. See screenshot.
