We install ACTIV Inspire as a network program.
When we install it on a network drive the Core Resources aren't installed.
This can be solved by installing it as a "custom install"...
The Help function (NL) and handwriting recognition (NL) can't be installed that way.
Can anyone tell me how we can install the Dutch Help and handwriting recognition on a network installed Inspire?

Hello there,

Have you read the new Network Installation Guide for ActivInspire? I have attached it to this reply, but it available from the Knowledge Base http://uk.prometheankb.com/al/7723/10867/article.asp?aid=303902&bt=4n - the article number is: 10363uk (I used the UK English site).

We have also set up two dedicated Customer Support email addresses, specifically to assist with network installations, as follows:

na.networkinstalls@prometheanworld.com - US
network.Installs@prometheanworld.com - Rest of World

Hope this gives you the information you need.

Hi Mary,

In the Support section of Planet, there is a submenu called "User Guides and Doc." I don't see anything there about ActivInspire. :(

Perhaps this Networking document plus the great What's New with ActivInspire 1.2 document you posted could go there (with other new documentation.)

That may be easier to find that in the forum or in the Knowledgebase.
