Hi,
I'm very new to Activeinspire but am very keen to use it.
I've got two questions.
In Activestudio there was an enable action button at the bottom of the screen which was very convenient to turn action on and off. I can't seem to find that button on activeinspire. I'm sure there's another way to enable an action but I can't find it. :( I was trying to enable action on a game but couldn't cuz I couldn't find that button. :(
Also, the revealer tool that is in the resource library doesn't seem to work the same way I used it on activestudio. I know that I have to make the object and the revealer tool to be on the top layer but that doesn't seem to work . (I'm talking about the revealer under lesson planning tools)
Thanks for your help. Absolutely love this site.

To disable actions, simply click the design mode icon on the top right of the software. Its a little icon that looks like an atomic symbol or a flower.... or something.

Design mode is a lot easier to use in this software than it was in Studio.

Not sure about what you mean by the second part of the question. Maybe someone can jump in. The typical reveal tool is the "window shade" type thing (I'm getting very technical).

If you are referring to premade objects that incorporate "magic ink", then you are correct, it does have to be on the top layer. However, the objects you are trying to reveal also have to be on the top layer. Finally, the revealer (magic ink) has to be more to the front of the layer than your object. Its sounds tricky, but basicially they bot have to be on the top layer.

The get the Magic Ink "revealer" revealer (What used to be the magic eraser in ActivStudio) You must have what you want to look through on the top layer, but under the revealer. The object that you want to see must be on a lower layer (Middle, Bottom, or background) The revealer will look through anything that is underneath it on the top layer (including multiple items). I hope this helps.

I think that you are talking about the Magic Erasers that you can have in your Resource Library. The object that you want to reveal can be in the Middle or Bottom layer, but the object you want to look through had to be in the Top Layer. Then the Magic Eraser will look through the object on Top to reveal the item underneath it.
Make sure the Magic Eraser from your Resource Library is in the Top Layer also and was put into your flipchart page after the item you want to look through. I hope that is what your trying to do.;)

+wave+ Thank you so much, everyone.
The enable disable is sooo simple! haha~
The revealer tool - I saw someone use it and thought it was just part of the resource library but I guess I have to make it myself?
I'll try it and see how it goes. Thanks!

(updated) I've made the coolest revealer tool. Yay! :)
