View Full Version : Vista vs XP Transfer Issues?

I just created a flipchart on my vista pc, and saved it, and sent the file to my work pc which has windows xp. The file will not open on the work (xp) pc and an error message appears saying "Unable to open..." Is there no transferring between these two programs? There both the same version of activinspire, so that shouldn't be the problem...they both have the resource pack too. Any help would be really great! Thanks...

How did you send it? And are you getting the "unable to open" message from within ActivInspire, or is it a Windows message?

Was there ever a solution found for this?

There is a teacher I know that is having a similar issue with transferring files from a Vista computer from home to a school XP computer. The lines and letters were in the wrong places.

Thanks for any tips concerning this! :confused:

If the letters arent showing up with the same spacing etc it may be a font issue, they need to check if the fonts used in the flipchart are on the other machine as well.
