I'm a site tech at a middle school. We've had a small number of older PB's installed for half a year, but have just finished getting 41 new ones (all classrooms). I'm not an active user myself as I just "manage" technology:confused:.

I think I've got the process for installing ActiveInspire, but in going through Promethean's pages, I get the impression that downloading and activating AI may also do something to your PWorld account - is this true?

If that is the case, should I work at having each teacher activate their own copy while logged in as them?? - which would be a pain - or does that not matter.

Thanks for replies.

You just need to make sure that you load the program, the resources and then the driver. After you restart the machine, then start the program. It will require you to put in a serial number to activate the software. If you downloaded ActivInspire from Promethean Planet, it required you to give a serial number of your ActivStudio software. Then it will give you a new serial number to use with your ActivInspire and it will start with 0015-
After you get the serial number in there is a box you need to check that you agree to the software agreement and then the software should work just fine.
You can use that serial number for more than one computer.:)
