Is it possible to open a flipchart in activestudio if it was created in activeinspire?

NO - flipcharts created in ActivInspire are .flipchart files, and can only be opened in Inspire.

Flipcharts created in ActivStudio or ActivPrimary are .flp files - can be opened in Studio, Primary OR Inspire.

If you open a .flp file in Inspire you will see an 'importing' process happening. Saving any changes will create a new .flipchart file, but will leave the original .flp file unchanged.
