I never had a problem copying to our Canon Printer with AP, but once AI was installed and I tried printing my flipcharts, they won't copy. I have the lastest Canon Copier Drivers on my computer.
Any ideas why I can't print my flipcharts in AI to our Canon Copiers at school?
I am hoping that figure this out before the other teachers realize they can't print their flipcharts. That could get ugly.????

Is the copier not a choice as where to print to?

No, it is listed when I go to print, but then I hit print and nothing happens. I can print to other printers that I hooked up to and tried, but at school we have to print to our copiers.
Right now I have to do Command+Shift+4, take a picture. Open the picture in Preview and print that way. It is a quick work around, but I am not sure that the teachers would be willing to do this, especially when you are printing a flipchart with many pages.

I found the same problem and I hooked it up to a printer. Do export the flipchart to a pdf file and then print from there. Great way to troubleshoot guys

Do you normally need to change anything within the print dialog before you can print to the copier from other applications?
I've seen problems with schools who need to enter a budget code into the job accounting section of the dialog before printing. The Inspire print dialog doesn't give you these choices and sends the job through with whatever the default settings for the printer are. At our school we couldn't choose to staple, or print single sided (as we have the default set to duplex), choose a paper tray, etc. It's one of a number of reasons we haven't installed Inspire yet.
Please give us the OS print dialog box back!
