ActiVote in MAC can't assign by device.

Please help. I have searched and read through the posts, but cannot find my problem addressed. There are three of us, experienced with ActiVotes in ActivStudio, but cannot get the assign by device to work in ActivInspire.

We have completed the process of creating classes, entering and assigning students to the class, and then assign by device. Next we hold down the control button (flame) on the ActiVote, upon both lights flashing we then enter the Pin code. Only the device does not flash green, but red. We each have tried setting this up on different machines with no luck. We are using MAC OS X.5. What are we missing?:(

Are you using the 2.4 Ghz activotes with the hub?
If so then for devices, you do not press the central flame button of the activotes.
Simply enter the 3 digit pin and the devices will be assigned.

Thank you. I read something about that in an earlier post, but it was quickly followed by a post stating that info was incorrect. However, I did as you instructed and all is well. Thank you for such a quick and helpful response.[clap]

By not having to press the central flame button with the newer votes, does shave a few seconds off the named voting process and helps speed things up.
