Files imported sideways

How do I fix PDF files that are imported sideways? I can use the camera tool, take a picture, then rotate but this is way too cumbersome for multiple files.

How about using the 'Rotate' option in Adobe Reader (View > Rotate View...) to reorient the .pdf before using the Camera Tool..

If you are using ActivStudio for Mac, you should be able to import them without having to use the camera tool. Here's what I would do.

First open the pdf in something like "preview." Ensure that it is viewing in the right direction (not sideways). If it is sideways, use the menu Tools and select rotate left or rotate right until it looks like you want it. Then resave it with another name.

Then open Activstudio (for Mac) and choose Import > from PDF. Navigate to the newly saved version and select it. You will have loads of options on how/what you want to import.

It's really nice if you want the entire pdf page and there are lots of them. But if you want just a portion of each page, then the area camera tool might be best.
