HELP! I have an ActivPanel in my computer lab. My teacher computer was updated this summer so I have a faster computer, yahoo! But, my panel doesn't like this particular computer. I've downloaded the driver and installed it. When I connect the panel I get a message asking to calibrate, so I try.

I can open System Preferences and to to the calibration screen. I'll click the upper left hand corner and the lower right hand corner of the cross hairs. After that the entire screen goes gray, but I can still see the menu bar and the dock. Once it gets to this screen, I cannot click on anything with either the pen or my mouse. I cannot Force Quit. I have to manually turn the computer off then turn it back on. Once I connect the Panel the same evil cycle ensues.

Is there anyone out there that can help with this problem? What am I doing wrong? I'd love to be able to use my panel with my students, it helps alot. But if i can't calibrate, it's a giant paperweight holding down my cart making sure it doesn't roll away.

I'm working on an iMac 1.83 GHz and running Mac OS X version 10.5.8

Thanks!
Leah

There might be a newer driver. If I were you, I'd call tech support. The numbers are here:
