Cannot update or delete embedded files...

I have an embedded microsoft word file that I am trying to update but I can't seem to select the text to change properties.

I cannot delete it either....any ideas????

Hi

What you need to do is disable actions then you can get to the text. If you right click and remove the tick from enable actions in the right click menu
Now you can double click on the link and you could delete using the bin on the toolbox
Or you could go into the object properties and change the file the link is opening - this won't change the text
Or you could edit the text and make it say whatever you want - this won't change the file that is being opened

Thanks Louise. I went ahead, copied the content, and pasted it to a new page.

I tried that and I'm not sure whiy it would not do that either.

I think my AS2 on my school computer is haunted!!!
