My school recently purchased two ActivBoards for our classrooms. I was told that the boards could run either with or without a projector. So far, I am only able to use the boards with a projector both on Windows and Mac.
The video cable that was sent is a 9 pin. All of your video adapters are 13 pin. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not true as far as I'm aware  Maybe they meant that you could use the software without a projector/board attached??

the 9 pin cable is a serial lead, that is for the board, the video cable from any projector will be 14 pin (this is what goes into the video splitter) if you are using a mac the board will either connect through a usb lead or this serial lead with a serial to usb converter.
please call technical support if you need this clearing up.
