reinstall error

Hi
I have just had my laptop rebuilt following virus attack.
Reinstalled active studio 2 from cd.
Then tried to reinstall patch update from website .
However when I run program I get Error 1628 . Update failed.
Can you help ?

What version of Activstudio had you installed from your cd?
To install the patch update you need to be on v307 or higher otherwise the update won't work.

Yep, I ran into that as well, earlier in the year. Call your friends at support. They helped me out greatly!!!
