I just saw the news about the iPhone App for Promethean Planet. Saw a brief glance at the app myself on a friend's phone and would love to try it out more.

Has anyone else gotten the app? What do you think?

The app is awesome. You can check recent resources, latest news, the blog, the forum and view all the Activtips and Teacher Features. And this is just v1. Very cool!

I just downloaded it and the interface is great. Right now, it crashes while viewing the resources, but its ease of use makes it a gem. I've been toggling for months now between blogs and forums and looking for resources. This is a one stop shop.

FINALLY!! Just got it this morning. Nice work! [clap] I like the interface, but wish it stayed throughout the app. When you go to post, you see a mini website instead of the same interface as the prior screen. Also, a little bug when scrolling through resources, but version 1 is off to a good start!
Can't wait to see the updates.

Are there any plans to release a similar piece of software for the Android (http://www.android.com/) platform?

There are no current plans - but I will discuss with the team as to whether this is something we should support.

I'd like to have an iphone, too (anyone have a spare one they can send me? hee-hee). But, I'll not be touching one any time soon given the overinflated prices and being forced into expensive contracts with phone companies. Funny how Microsoft get caned as being anti-competitive for adding internet explorer to windows, yet Apple can get away with restricting (well, actually, destroying, not restricting) choice of provider.
