Am just getting to the point of playing with inspire. I like what I see. However, I must be missing something simple. I am using a mac and it seems that when I want to delete an object I need to either go to the menubar and select delete, or drag it to the trash. While doing search in the index for delete I found that you should be able to press the delete key. I would think this should be an obvious thing - at least to any mac user who uses software with objects, delete always works. Why not with inspire. I guess I must just be missing something.
Thanks.

I've found that instead of dragging items to the trashcan, I just click on them and then the trashcan. Not what you want, but may be helpful in the meantime!

For those who don't like the Trash Can icon being so big and in the way of the body of the slide, one can use the "delete" (or red X) icon in the Main Toolbox - just highlight the objects to delete hit the red X icon to delete.

HI! I seem to have lost my trash can icon. Any idea where it might have gone or how I can get it back? I'm using a PC.
Thanks!

No Problem,
Go to View>Customize>Layout tab
You should see that option on the bottom.
