I have not been able to find the color picker tool in Inspire. Is it gone? I wonder if many users found this tool useful. Once I started using it in Studio, I was hooked. I hope it's there somewhere...:(

It's in there! (and I think actually better!) Here's what I've found.

Say you want to replace a color on your color palette with a "new" color.

Right click on the color to replace.
You should see the eyedropper/ color picker tool in the menu that appears.
Use it to select the new color from your screen.

Voila!

Is this what everyone else is finding?

Yes, I really like the zoom feature that it has, so you can make sure you pick the right color!

Much improved indeed! I'm lovin' it! all the features others mentioned and it doesn't crowd my main toolbox (or any other for that matter). I was looking for it among the other tools, as it was in Studio:o. Thanks for pointing me to it:)!

In Studio, we could hold Control while clicking on text with the color picker, and then using the fill tool we could click on any other text to copy the text color and style from the first text. This doesn't seem to work now. Any idea if this feature carried over to Inspire in another way?

I found it easier to customize the colors with Studio. :(
I have lessons where the students at the board change the hue or tint of colors they are working with.:D
A simple double click to get the Colors edit box, now they will have to 'right click' with the pen.
I know it is not a big deal but it's one more thing.
I hate to sound like an old geezer:rolleyes:, but my students have never needed to right click before.
