Download question

If I download ActivInspire, does it overwrite my ActivStudio or do I keep both softwares? I want to explore the ActivInspire on my laptop at home this summer but don't want to lose the old ActivStudio software. I'm looking to just explore the new software to see if it should be downloaded on my school computer.

No, it does not overwrite. I have ActivInspire, Activstudio AND Activprimary on my computer. Then only word of caution I would give you is that flipcharts created in ActivInspire cannot be opened with Activstudio or Activprimary. However, flipcharts created with the older applications CAN be opened in ActivInspire.

Thanks, Lisa. Another question - I have flipcharts in ActivStudio in the My Flipcharts file and lots of resources downloaded into the library. When using ActivInspire, do I have to download the resources again or are they (and the flipcharts) accessible through ActivInspire?

Well, that's a good question. I've found my Shared Resources from Activstudio (and any resource packs I have downloaded from Planet in the past) are there. I've just checked an the My Resources are there, too!
