background on images

When I find an image in my library, let's say, a picture of a boy, instead of just putting a picture of a boy in the flipchart, it shows up with a box around it, and the background color of the box is bright pinkish purple? Any idea why this happens? It happens to all the images in my resource library except backgrounds? Thanks

Try clicking on the "toggle transparency" icon on your resource library. It may be set to "no transparency." The color showing is the transparent color.

Also be sure that you have the lastest version of ActivInspire (1.1) as I think there were some issues with transparency in the previous version.
