What is the Network Edition?

Could someone explain us what is the network edition of Activsoftware? Does ActivInspire has it currently? What is the function apart from normal ActivInspire? Does it mean when we install the AI network edition into the school server then we can run AI from classroom computer which is connected to server without installing itself.

Talking from a purely technical perspective, there is only one version of the ActivInspire application.

Therefore deploying Inspire onto many computers on your network is actually a commerical issue, something you might want to contact Promethean directly on.

Back to the technical thoughts, to ensure maximum performance, ActivInspire should always be installed on the computers local hard disk and not on a network drive.
