Color Picker

How can I pick a color using the color picker when using the Fill tool?
I know I can use the color picker for text -- but what about other uses?:confused:

Here's what I have found.

Right click on a color from the color palette on your Tool Palatte that you want to "replace" with a new color.
A window will appear with the color picker icon (eyedropper). Select that icon and roll the mouse/pen over the page until it is over the color you desire and click on it.

That is now a new color that should work for pens, highlights and the fill bucket. I've attached a screenshot.

I've gotten that far, but then how do we save the new colors? When I close ActivInspire and then reopen it, my old colors are still there. I've tried saving my profile, but I'm doing something wrong apparently because those old colors keep coming back like a bad dream! :)

this is an issue with the software
if you're working in studio mode then upgrade to 1.1 & all will be solved, unfortunately it is still there if you're in primary mode.:o
