View Full Version : Bulleted lists

I have been using the updated version of Inspire since it was released and with snap to grid now working as expected it has made my life as a maths teacher easier. There are still a few issues though, not being able to search the resource library and no fraction creator amongst the biggest from my point of view, but on the whole it's looking good.

Having said this I have discovered today another strange issue which I am wondering if anyone else has found, or found a fix for. When you create a bulleted list the bullets (I've tried it with numbers and letters) show up fine until you go to the next page, when you come back to that page the text it still there but the bullets seem to have magically vanished. You can get them back if you double click to edit the text then just click back on the screen but obviously this is not the ideal solution.

Anyone able to help?

not much help to you but I thought I'd let you know that I've recreated this & I'll get it raised as an issue to be fixed.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

One of the teachers in my building is also having a text issue. She has the update to inspire on her MacBook, but when she puts in text and formats it the way she wants, it changes when she is done
typing and some of the letters turn red.

Any help for this issue?

Does she have spell check turned on?

Nope, spell check is not on. Random letters turn red and her text changes.

I take it nobody else has witnessed the problem I stated, but does anyone have any ideas on how to solve it? I'm at a total loss for ideas.

My solution was to just put the numbers in directly. I found this when I started using ActiveInspire. I'm an ESL Teacher and I use lists all the time. Especially empty ones so I can write the answers to questions up as the students respond to my questions.

A fix would be great.
