We are starting a school-wide unit based on Norah Dooley's book "Everyone Cooks Rice". I am looking to collaborate with a class either webconferencing/ichat. I am introducing the essential question "What Would Happen If The World Had No More RIce?" The students would take the essential question and apply the Big6 to their discussions. Additionally, we will be working on a collage that would reflect items that have ingredients/use rice. Students will then have a visual on why rice is such a staple to our planet.
