Hii there! :)
i'm having trouble with downloading activinspire for windows vista. :confused:
it installs it until it will come up with a small box saying;
activinspire v1 : the feature you are trying to us is on a network resource that is unavailable :(
What do i do ????
Please Help Me as i was & still am looking foward to have a play ;)

This is the auto repair feature kicking in as the Installer thinks there are some files missing.
The quickest way to solve this is to -

Launch the installer again from your web download and let it unpack the installation files to your temp folder.
Wait until you get to the 'Welcome' dialog but don't go ant further.
Next launch your ActivInspire application from the Desktop or Start Menu shortcut.
This time when it tries to run it will go into the auto repair mode again but will find the files it's looking for.
You should see a small dialog saying it's configuring ActivInspire and when it's finished the application will run.
If all has gone well ActivInspire will now be up and running and you can go back to the installer 'Welcome' dialog and click Cancel to shut it down.

This still isnt working :(
As much as your help was brilliant and helped me a bundle :)
I followed your instructions and it still seemed to not work. I am so upset as i was looking foward to going into work and showing it to all of my students.
It comes up with a box now once following your instructions which reads : 'Fatal error during installation'.
I would appreciate your help so much so i can go back into work on monday with my head held high about my new activinspire application.
