On a Mac to close a program, you use command Q. In Inspire, when you use command Q, it inserts a question. Not a huge deal, but those who are used to the short-cuts on their Macs, it's hard to get used to. Any way that's going to change in the next version?

Hi. That's not the only key problem.
Command-Q doesn't quit the program.
This is one of those key commands that you apply without thinking about, because you did it many thousand times. So, at home or end of lesson you just go to the computer, press quit and suddenly a dialog about questions pops up.
So please, let us have the most normal key commands at least. It would be very sad if Mac users would have to buy a key command editor just to use Inspire.
Thankfully this one is getting fixed. From this thread: http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8106
We have discussed this point again in Innovations and agree that Cmd-Q, Cmd-Shift-Q and Cmd-H will defer to standard Mac keyboard shortcuts.
Thankyou very much for your feedback and for helping us to decide the best way forward here :)
As I said in the other thread, I sure hope this also includes Cmd-P, Cmd-M, Cmd-Shift-S and Cmd-Shift-Z.
What I'd love to see right now is a sticky thread of what will be fixed in the next version. We're hoping we can roll ActivInspire out, but have a number of deal-breaking bugs at the moment (including keyboard shortcuts, printing to non-default printers, and a number of issues with accessing the resource library).
Cheers,
Mark
