I am creating vectors with their equations and want to group them. I can group them but the program does not seem to really group them. They move on the screen on a group but I can't apply an action to the entire group. Example I group the figures first then I highlight the entire group. I then go to the action browser and apply an action (like to hide when i click on the group). Then I apply and save. But the action will not apply to the whole group at once. I have to click on each individual item to make them hide. Is there a way to make the action apply to the entire group.

Use the camera tool to take a snapshot of the group. that then becomes a single image object so you can apply the hide action to that.

Hi-
at the bottom of the action browser there is a section called 'Target' where you can choose the target object from a list. The group should appear in the list. e.g. the 'Hidden' action can be applied to any individual object, or the whole group.
(unless I misunderstand the problem etc!).

Also, and this is one that I have forgotten a time or two myself, don't forget to click on the "Apply Changes" button to make sure the Actions will stay on the object or group!

I have had that same problem. I made sure that I targeted the group and applied the changes. It was weird, the action brought the entire group forward, but switched the order the grouped objects were in.

We have the same problem here. When I want to apply action To front to a group of objects - they switch places bringing forward shape objects and messing up whole flippchart.
See attached file if somebody can help with advice.
I don't like idea of making snapshots becouse of loosing posibility to edit grouped objects.

Thanks
