I made this flipchart real quick before school. Its 10 slides long. Every time I've tried to use it, it crashes going from the 7th to 8th page. I've uploaded both the flip chart and error message.
I use a MacBook Pro with 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and build 1.0.10799 of Inspire.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I downloaded your flipchart and had the same thing happen when trying to turn to page 8. Did you do anything special on that page? (link another file, add an action?)
I've attached a copy of the flipchart w/ all but page 8, and it seems to work fine, so if you want you can just fill in the blanks on that page:) This doesn't answer your question about what is wrong, but I hope it is helpful anyway!

Thanks, I downloaded the copy with that page removed and the rest of it works now.
I looked in the page browser at the 8th page and there is nothing on the page except written text and a circle from the shapes menu. I don't remember doing anything special on that page.

I opened a flipchart from the Activstudio shared flipcharts on Ancient Egypt in ActivInspire. It has several page actions that take it from page to page. After about the 3rd page action, ActivInspire quits. So I tried to create just a small flipchart with about four pages to use the page command actions. I made it very simple and again after about the 2nd or 3rd page action the program crashes.
Is this a bug in the ActivInspire software and has anyone else had the same problem?
I'm using a MacBook Pro.
I'm the district trainer for our Promethean program in our district and have teachers asking about all of the crashes.

I am using a PC and was able to work in Inspire for 2 weeks. When I went to use the camera to take a snapshot within a video, it was just doing black boxes instead of snapshots. I went in and fixed the hardware acceleration issue in the troubleshooting and was able to get the camera to take snapshots. Now Inspire wont even come up completely anymore. It crashes before the tool strip even fully loads. I got the solution to the problems mentioned above from the forum. What gives? I am training this summer and really to get in and play. Can someone help me?

what have you set your hardware accelaration to?
If you set it back to what you had it before will inspire work again?
Was the change for a fix in inspire or a v3 app?
thanks!

I was trying to fix the problem previously mentioned in Inspire. I was told to push the acceleration bar to just under half way. Then when I went to play a dvd for class, I could only get the audio - no video. I suspected the change to be the problem and so I went to put it back. The dvd played. Later, when I tried to go into Inspire, it started crashing before it would even load completely.

I am experiencing the same kind of crashes on my Macbook Pro. In my case, I was trying out a flipchart that I had made previously in Activstudio 3. Everything else about the flipchart seemed to translate correctly, but it always crashes when I select an action object that is meant to take you back to page 5 from a later page. I tried deleting the original action object and creating a new one from scratch, but that crashed also.
