Hello,
I believe this question that had been ask once and again. Please forgive me if you are bored of this question.
Can I save to flp format in ActivInspire? A lot of my teachers still working on Activstudio. As a flipchart creator for my teachers, I wanted badly to try ActivInspire. But it will not help me, if it does not save to flp format as Activstudio is not able to read flipchart format.
Thank in advance for your answer.
Hi David,
As far as I am aware it will only save as a .flipchart and therefore is not backwards compatible.

I am using all sorts of versions on my pc at the moment. I have activstudio 2.5 and 3, activ primary and 3.6, expression and the new inspire. All seem happy together! I am making my new stuff in whichever seems most sensible at the time!

Hello, Janice.
I am sorry to hear that. I guess a lot of teachers felt the same like me.
Although, we know that there are some thing really great waiting for us, yet we are hold back by the old system.
Guess the future development will need to have the consideration on backwards compatible in mind while designing the software.

I am happy for you.
As for me, like all teachers, time is never enough. If ActivInspire can support old format, I am test the software and design my on hand flipchart at the same time.
Since it cannot do that, I can only try the software after I have finish all my work on hand. :(
