Is there a way I can scroll a flipchart down instead of having to flip the page? When I'm taking math notes it's annoying to have to flip to the next page to continue a problem we're working on. Not sure if this was ever an option in Studio but it would be nice!

Here are some ideas:

You can go to your preferences and change the default size of your pages from 1024 x 768 to a "taller" size. Then all of your flipchart pages will be scrollable up and down. (just choose fit to width on the page settings in upper right of page.)

Or...you can change the size for any particular page by going to the Page Property browser and changing its size. See screenshot.

Or...you can keep the page the same size but select the entire grouping of annotations and drag it by the bottom corner icon to be smaller, then continue writing below. See other attachment.

Maybe others have ideas, too?

i would set the a large "tall" rectangle as a container that can contain anything... then you can add content to it... annotations/images/text and just click and drag it up or down to move through notes/diagram/lesson

i will post an example a little later... (on friend's computer = no Inspire... yet)

Don't forget to mention that you set your scale to about 50%, so that you can make your rectangle larger than your 'window'. Joe, just taught this to one of my teachers today!

This was definitely an option in V3, with custom pages - you could have flipchart with 1 page wide by 4 pages long, for example. With "Page panning" and "Page Frame Guidelines" checked in studio settings.

I used it a lot with my A level students, the problems we were looking at needed more space without the need to flick back and forth.

I can't find similar in Inspire, however, and have posted it in another thread of things I miss in Inspire.

I'm having the same problem with scrolling. Even with resizing the screen and when the scroll bars finally do appear, the vertical scrolling within a page is not even close to ''functional''. Who is experiencing this? I'm on a Mac using OS 10.5.7 and the latest release of ActivInspire.:D

Can you explain further? I'm on a Mac, too and it seems to work for me.
