I just downloaded Inspire and have been trying to get my Activotes to work with the software and have been having a terrible time. When I start the program, I go into the dashboard, register the devices and everything seems fine; but when I then go to test them in a flipchart, I get a "No Expression devices are registered" message.

I went in and updated the ActivHub through the ActivManager to the newest version of what I believe to be firmware, and I'm getting the same message.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Do the Activotes only work with Studio? I can't figure it out. It was so easy with V3, and, like I said, the voters are popping up like everything is fine in the Device Registration window, but when I try to use them it all falls apart.

I called Tech Support and, in the end, was told to go back to ActivStudio V3.

After registering make sure you click on the activote tool in the voting browser - inspire defaults to expression devices and has to be 'told' to use the votes every time you use them.

Doesn't work for me. It looks like it does, but it will only register one response no matter how many votes it says it recorded. :(

I'm having a similar problem. When I use the question page maker in Insert Question, our Activotes will not work. I always seem to have to ask a question "on the fly." How can I set the Activote as my default? How can I use these already set up pages with the Activote instead of ActivExpressions? Thanks!
