Hello
The school in wich I work bought copies of Activeprimary2 to the teachers, so they can use it at home and prepare their lessons.
I have installed it on my home computer, but when I try to launch it, i get a "Hardware not detected" error.
How can I use the active primary at my home, without the activeboard?

The message "hardware not detected" is not actually an error message. It simply means you are not currently connected to an Activboard, but you can still use the software to create flipcharts with or without being connected. The watermark will disappear from the flipchart as soon as you connect to an Activboard.
Promethean has since upgraded the software and did away with the watermark. There is now a software license agreement window that pops up upon launching the software. You can upgrade to the latest version of the software directly from Promethean Planet or from the support tab on your dashboard.

In some countries you are unable to use AP2 unless you have hardware detected.... ie connected to the board.
My advice would be to download Activinspire which is the latest and the best [clap]

Unwilling as I am to contradict Margaret:D, if the whole school is on Activprimary 2 then the whole school needs to upgrade to Inspire as you can open Inspire flipcharts with older versions of our software.
However if you're not in an English then upgrade to Activprimary 3. Inspire will be available soon in other languages.
