I just took the Migrating to Inspire course and thought it was great. One of the new features that I love is being able to take pictures of video; however, when I try it on my computer it takes a picture, but the pictures don't show up. They just come out black and a little transparent everytime I take one. It doesn't ever capture a picture of the video. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Kelly,
Try this, as recommended by one of our product managers:
go on the desktop, right click: Properties>Settings tab>Advanced button>Troubleshooting tab:
Turn down the Hardware acceleration to just less than halfway. That should work.

Is there any other fix for this issue. As a network manager, of a City Learning Centre that runs training sessions on Activinspire for all teachers in the borough, I have the software on 30 machines - turning down the hardware acceleration is a workaround that is not viable in this environment. I also mange schools - this solution is not viable on all teacher machines either. (Some schools have up to 20 IWBs)

I did notice that the 'snapshot' did not work for .wmv files...

See if it will work on .flv files.
