Camera Tool and Properties Box

Hello, I am trying to take a picture of the Object Edit Box and Properties Box of an object (say rectangle) with the camera tool. I select the rectangle and double click to get the object edit box. When I try to take a picture with the camera tool, the Object Edit Box or the Properties Box disappear. I've seen training flipcharts with pictures of these boxes, and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.????

There should be a way in Windows to take a screenshot of a portion of the screen. I know I do that all the time on my Mac, but I'm not sure how on a PC.

Hello tonik. I have done exactly what you wrote: double-clicked on the rectangle to bring up the Object Edit toolbox. Clicked on Camera Tool -> Area -> teased blue outline over the toolbox -> clicked 'To Current Flipchart Page' (the first option on the Photograph tool box) and there was the photo of the Object Edit toolbox on my page.

I did the same thing with the Properties toolbox, then moved the photos around, added the arrows and the text. All in Presentation Mode.

Does this help at all?

In settings you can choose to have the camera take snapshots of the toolbars.

Thank you so much. As it turns out having the camera capture toolbars was not selected in settings. It works perfectly now! I learn something new everyday![clap]
