Edit text pasted from Word

I want to copy a list of spelling words from Word to Activstudio. If I copy and paste I am unable to edit the text once it is in Activstudio as it appears to be an object rather than text. Is there a way around this?

The text should be pasted in as a text object which you can edit via the T option in the Object Edit toolbar. If its refusing to play. upload the word page and the flipchart page here and I'll have a look at it.

when you paste the text from the clipboard it should give you a choice to paste as text or image. Make sure you select text
