My colleague made a flipchart at school yesterday. She saved it, and tried to open it today, and it wouldn't open. It said, "Please insert the last disk of the Multi-Volume set. Press OK when ready or Cancel to abort." When you close this box, another comes up saying, "Not a valid flipchart! This flipchart may have been created with a later version of the software." We are unclear of this because she created it on the same computer, using the same program. The only thing that's different is that she made it yesterday, and wanted to use it today. Can anyone please explain why this is happening?

This sounds like a corrupt file which does happen occasionally. Unfortunately there's no solution.

Yes, there can be, if you have an organised systematic backup of all your important work, such as flipcharts.
For the first time in three years of using AS, I lost half of a saved flipchart this week - when I went to open it, half of the pages were blank. Of course, these were pages on which I had recorded pupils' work!
Thankfully, I was able to locate the flipchart on my internet backup server. It's a paid-for service, but believe me, it's worth it when this happens.
