Nothing working

I've installed inspire and now I think something has happened to the driver because my board is not being recognised.
In c:/windows/system32 there is no activdrv.dll
and there is no activ driver in add/remove programs

If there is definitely no Activdriver entry in Add/Remove programs, try running the ActivInspire Installer again but this time select ‘Custom Install’ option.
On the ‘Select Features’ dialog make sure that Activdriver is selected in the list (if everything else was installed ok previously there should be nothing else available to select).
Then continue with the install and the Activdriver should be ok.

It said everything is installed including the activdriver x32 (when it isn't)

hmm... maybe a call to tech support is best then.

Technical support were not helpful.

I managed to resolve the problem though. I did a system restore to when the laptop worked with the board then installed the software on custom, deselecting the activdriver.

I had a similar issue, just that after I downloaded Inspire, my activexpressions would not work. When I called tech support, the rep had me check my activdriver...she said that somehow there is an issue with the wrong driver installing...so she had me delete the one that downloaded with Inspire (it was Activdriver 5.1.1) by going to the control panel, clicking on add/remove programs, and deleting the Activdriver. I then had to go to promethenplanet.com and go to "support" to download the correct Activdriver (4.1.1). After I downloaded and ran the driver, everything worked properly.
