View Full Version : ActivSlate Losing Registration

????I have read through all the other activslate registration issues and cannot find one similar to mine. My activslate works fine, the hub is plugged in, everything works fine as a matter of fact...until the activslate loses the registration and I have to register it again. I cannot figure out why this is happening or what to do to correct it. I think it may be related to the auto shutoff feature which I have set for 10 minutes (the maximum allowed time). If I shut off the slate myself, it remains registered when I turn it back on after a few minutes. But this is very frustrating to have to re-register it more than once every class period. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

I do not believe that it has to do with the auto shut-off on the slate. I turn mine on/off all the time without problems.
If I had to venture a guess, I have a feeling that there might be a setting in your computer that is not allowing the registration to stay. Maybe you don't have rights to the system prefs of your computer. I have seen this before, where you can register it and use it just fine. But when you power or log off the computer, the system settings are re-set and the slate registration is not saved.
All that being said, I think that your next step should be to contact tech support. Do you have their contact info?
