Hi all
We are new to these boards
I have one nagging problem
the software works fine the Teachers can create flip charts etc without a problem before class at home etc
but as soon as you plugin the board the cpu processes hit 100% with as3.5pe on 50% and activcontol2.exe taking the other 50%
have been on the phone to tech support but to no avail can someone please give some advice
the workstations are ibm Lenovo R400 with 2 gig ram 2.4 gig processor windows xp sp3

Ah-ha!!! I had this problem last week!! Try this:
You may need to update your software if you haven't already. Go to "support" at the dashboard and select "check for update"
Or try this: Go to studio settings and select general (should be there by default)
Then, select "Reset all settings" This is what fixed my problem.
Open you windows task manager and see if there is any improvement.
Hope this helps.

Sorry Andy but it didn't work
I have been in tallks with the people here and it seems that sp3 could be the problerm
we were told to try it on another laptop but with sp2
and it seems to work
I have been told there is a hot fix for something similar with some other form of tablet boards sp3 but have not found it yet

Try updating your driver. I'm currently using Driver version: 5.1.1.25. If you go to the support site, you can find it there. This driver however was installed with the Beta version of ActivInspire. Hope this helps.

Hi Andy
Thanks for your post I downloaded the ActivsInspire software and extracted that version of the driver
At this stage things are looking good as I have said thankyou very much
I would have thought that this driver version would have been in the download section or on phoning them they could have made it available to me for testing
