Is there a way to do flipcharts in 3-D? I picked up a bunch of 3-D glasses from the grocery store about the time of the Super Bowl (there apparently were some commercials in 3-D) and thought that it would be cool to try to create a 3-D flipchart. I've been playing around with text color and position but haven't got it yet. I'm also curious to know if anyone out in Promethean Planet knows how to do 3-D videos from video files as well.
Thanks.

How fun! If you get it to work, I hope you can take pics or video of your kids with their glasses on.

Andy~ I was playing around with this idea last year when I taught dinosaurs. I went online and found some 3D pictures already made and pasted them to a flipchart page. I didn't quite get them to work how I wanted, :(so if you get it to work please share!

Actually, I tried it too but couldn't get it to work. I looked up "3d images" on the web and pasted a few of them onto a flipchart page but couldn't "see" anything showing in 3D using my cheapie 3D glasses. But maybe my glasses were not "compatible" with the images I found.
Cool idea, yes!

I googled "free 3D Software" and I am downloading an app now... I'll let you know if I get it to work!
Promethean's Ginno Kelley is a pro at this, i'll ask him to get on here and add some insight!
Wish I would have picked up those glasses during Super Bowl time!!!

USGS has some spectacular 3D images. They are easily incorporated into a flipchart. One thing you may need to watch for is the way the 3D image is created. The newer technology, as seen during the superbowl, uses amber/blue filters. Most 3D glasses you can buy have the blue/red filters. I hope this helps clear it up a bit.

Thanks to those who have checking this out. I'm still trying to figure it out but I've still not found the right method or procedure.
