Resource Search

One teacher I am working with is having trouble with their resource library search. All of the resources are still in their folder for shared and my resources. When the teacher goes to search for a resource using the magnifying glass in the resource library search the search immediately comes back with a box that says "Nothing Found." I can find the resources when I search manually for them in the folder, but you know that sometimes it is annoying when you just want to find a coin. I want to just search for it using the search feature. Any suggestions.????

Are they doing the normal or the fast search?

If it is the fast search then it sounds like the resources aren't indexed. Go into resource manager & click on index resources & do the shared resources. Then try the search again.

I am having the same problem. I have reindexed the library and even restarted my computer and the search still will not work. Could the inspire software be causing the problem? Help! I use this feature a lot.

I have tried with v3 & inspire with resources on the same pc & it hasn't stopped the resource search from working.
Are you using the quick or normal search

I solved the problem. User error! Either one of my student or my myself unchecked all of the search options - except the sound files. Once I checked search all - all was well. :D
