I wrote a grant to get an Activslate, and I got it!![clap] I was using the one in the library before, but now I have my own. When I went to charge it I noticed that it said "Temp Low" in the screen. What does that mean? I've registered and used it, and it is working. I'm just not sure why it said that when I went to charge it. Can anyone answer my question?

Our slate developer says this means temperature low. (He suggests you move to a warmer country). Maybe you left the slate in your car overnight. The slate won't charge if it is too cold and will wait until it warms up. If it is working OK the message will go away. If it doesn't or if you are having problems it may have a fault and you should contact tech support.

Thank you, Lee. This is going to be interesting because the slate has always been in my classroom. My room is cold. I will move it to a classsroom that is warmer so I can charge it. Then I'll bring it back to my classroom igloo!:D Thanks again!

You need a little ActivSlate warming station. :)

You are right. More heat in the classroom wouldn't hurt either!:p
