Hello,

I'm trying to install the resource pack on a colleagues computer. Its is the basic resource installer (ActivStudio_Resources_(GBR)_v3[1].5.1_setup).

When I double click the file, nothing happens. No boxes, no error messages, nothing. She is using Vista, and when I right-click and select Run as Administrator, it asks me if I want to allow the program to run, and then nothing again! When i go into Task Manager there does not seem to be any relevant process running. I have tried the file of the DVD and downloaded it from Promethean Planet but to no avail.

She is running Vista Enterprise edition.

You may want to call tech support. I assume you are meaning that you are trying to install the Activstudio resources that come on the CD/DVD?

"Resource Packs" are different beasts. They are on Planet as separate downloadable "packs" by theme or topic and install using the Activresource Manager (which launches when you double click on the downloaded file.)

Yes, its the Activ resources that come on the CD. When you download the Activstudio installer from this website, there is the option to download these resources as an executionable file.

That sound like a Tech Support call to me! Have you tried calling them? They are pretty good at that kind of stuff. They probably have had the question before.
