Does anyone know how to make object duplicate? I have seen pages where you put the arrow over an object and then it changes to a plus sign and the original object stays in place but you have a new one to move around the page.

Sounds like "drag a copy"
Try this: Right-click on the object > Edit > Drag a copy
Now, when the cursor moves over the object you will see it change to a different icon (like 2 boxes with an arrow..) - this means that you can simply drag any number of the same object from the original.
Hope this is what you mean... I assume you are working in Activstudio or Activprimary?
In AP you need to be in Design Mode to set up the action, but it will only function when you are back in presentation mode.

You're welcome, and BTW - Welcome to the Promethean Forum!
Always a great way to find out stuff about the fantastic Activsoftware and other Activboard issues.

I believe if you click on the object you will get the object toolbar to show up & towards the right of that toolbar there is a duplicate object tool you can click on. It looks like 2 notepads side by side.

Yes, that's true - if you just want one copy of the object, that is the way to go..
