Hi,
Anyone can give some some clue how can we import class register into Activote User Database.
How is the imported CSV format look like? Please advice.
Thank in advance.

Once you have imported the CSV file, the software allows you to label each column - first name, surname, gender, date of birth and 2 others I think. All you really need is the name of each pupil.

Hi, David.
Thank you for your advice.
Normally, we will have some thing like that;
1. Ling Yen Ting
2. Song Xin Bee
...
What will be the expected result, if we import it to the system?

Hi David
The effect will depend on how you put the names in the CSV file. The class list only has two labels for names: first and surname in the Western style. So what you will have to do is decide which of the 3 parts of each Chinese name go in which column of the CSV file.
So for Ling Yen Ting, if Ling is the family name put that in a column on its own. If Yen Ting is how the person is called by family and friends then put both in one column, or you could just put the initials in one column. If Ling Yen is the family name then they will have to go in one column.
When the file has been imported just use the drop down menus at the top of each column to say which is which.
There's no reason why you can't put the whole name in one column. Even if the whole name isn't really a 'surname'. The label doesn't show anywhere except when you export results to Excel which will probably be only seen by the teacher.
