Not sure about this one! Its the standard Su doku puzzel with drag the numbers action on the page to support the palcing of multiple numbers. Well its logic and its fun and a good demonstration of the IWB actions.

Chris,
Great idea! I only wish this one had the small numbers I use to show where its possible to put the digits. Also, very mean of you to post a Sudoku without posting the answer... Give me time during the day, my friend, and I will have it for you...oh wait, I don't have time for this today, but maybe I will add it to my demo, and then make the participants help me...

Chris,
This is great! I also made a Sudoku templete, but I can't seem to find it.
I also had some very small drag & drop numbers, to be used as notes in the boxes while trying to find the right answer.

I'm a Sudoku fan - great for collaborative activity with students discussing the strategies. A good entering or starter activity.
There is a Sudoku flipchart of mine on Planet which has the small numbers.

I made some suduko grids in word, laminated them and pull out one of the puzzles from this site for starter/ plenary and the kids use the blank grids with drywipe markers.
There are also some blank grids already done at mathwire.com

Excellent guys some great ideas, I knew you would come up with some extending thoughts....
Has anyone seen the ones where if you colour the numbers in at the start it gives a message (ie 1 + 2 = 3)?

I tried that, very interesting.
I think that this only works with this, or a few other sudokus and not all of them.

So here is a question, what is the minimum number of numbers you need to solve a promblem?
