When I have an overhead projector transparency that I love, or an old ditto master, or coloring page, I have found a way to Prometheanize it pretty easily, while still being able to easily color it right in studio. This is great for large, color, or other items that just will not scan well. I place the item on the overhead, or on the opaque projector, and project it onto my Promethean board. Even though the projector is on and running on the board surface, the other image will show up too. I also sometimes place the paper or transparency right on my Promethean board. Once there, I can trace the image using the Activ Pen. When I am done tracing it, I use the paint bucket to fill it. Then, I can drag it to my library and add it as a resource. Happy tracing!
