Good morning Planet Members,
You may be aware that we are in the process of gathering the submissions for the Cast Your Vote: Decision 08! Unfortunately, a few of the classroooms that registered have not submitted so we are just a few short of what we need to data for all 51 slots (50 states plus the District of Columbia.)
Soooo.....Plan B.
If anyone is still interested in participating, now is the time. (You don't have to be from the USA!)
All you have to do is get your students to vote for their candidate and submit the results via the online form. See link below.
We will slot your submissions into the missing slots as they come in until will fill out the whole data set. (So obviously, if we get 500 submissions, we can only use up to 51!)
The object is not really WHO won, but to gather data that we can publish so that the students can apply the Electoral College System to figure out the winner. (However, the results are interesting as well.)
So if you could help us out, we would really appreciate it!

We will be publishing voting results shortly before Nov. 4 (Election Day) so that all classes can participate in tabulating the electoral votes and determine the winner!
If you would like a flipchart page to use, I have one attached.
