I'm sure this link has been on the forum before but I thought I'd post it again now, seeing as firework season is here and it's particularly effective on your IWB!

Enjoy!! :D

That's lots of fun! I could click around all day to see what I can make the fireworks look like. Too bad I have to work! ;)

This would be fun for the birthday boy or girl in the class to be able to do themselves to help celebrate their birthday!

What fun. I think would be a fun way to teach cursive handwriting! (Wish it would go full-screen though. Know of a way?)

I have to be out of the UK for fireworks night so I am resigned to making my kids a game...

"lighting the touchpaper of learning"... flipchart attached

I'll work on it a bit more and so the kids can click where they want them to go

Here's a one page flipchart with a flash file that sparkles when you move around it. It was made for the announcement of the Activwand!

Lisa and Mark,
I've had so much fun with the sparkle flipcharts !!!! Someone could become addicted to playing. Plan on letting my students get on them tomorrow after tests....They will LOVE it....thanks for sharing...

Here's another one = one pf my favourites yet - you get to preview different fireworks and then create your own display by placing them on a 'timeline' and then setting the off!!

The ultimate "virtual firework show" I have seen is in Roller Coaster Tycoon Special Edition..

It is a full virtual theme park and you can orchestrate full 3D show and sync them with music - and then watch them from anywhere.

My kids love this program...

Like Sim City - it is possibly one of the best games to explore business managment, construction, even physics!

Good one Sarah,

My Teaching Assistant was otherwise engaged yesterday afternoon - my class were doing a mass firework painting session - and the carrot of whiteboard fireworks kept them really sensible while I got the tidying away done without the help of an extra pair of hands... and their paintings were pretty good too after watching them.
