Can anybody help me?
I'm trying to set up ad-hoc questions but when I right-click and select ad-hoc none of the drop down menus allow me to choose an option.
Also, is it possible to register one set of activote pods on two different computers? Every time I go between two computers I have to re-register the devices?
An advice will be greatfully received.

Hello millarh. That’s the point of AdHoc questions, you won’t want to allocate attributes to your page. You will normally just write or type a question on your board and ask your students to vote. Click on the ? to get Help on the difference between Pre-prepared and AdHoc question pages.
You can register a set of Activote devices on any number of computers – we have just the one set in my school, it is used in a dozen rooms. Once the devices are registered, they’re ready to be used at any time, but individual teachers may want to set up User Databases for their classes, to allocate pods to specific students. Again, the ? will provide a lot of information.

The older style votes register to the computer so you will need to re-register when you move computers. But the computer will remember the set for the next time.
The newer style votes register to the Activhub so if you move the set with the hub to another computer just plug in the hub abd the votes will work.

Is there a way to trade in or upgrade from the old votes to the new ones? Sort of like a credit toward part of the purchase of a new version set, with the old set being donated by Promethean for tax benefit purposes.
